This activity invites youth workers and youth work managers to reflect on their connection to digital youth work by sharing a digital artefact.
Through this process, participants learn to express their values, interests, and inspiration related to digital tools, spaces, and practices in youth work.
By completing this activity, you will:
- Reflect on your personal or professional engagement with digital youth work.
- Learn from others’ experiences and perspectives.
- Strengthen group connection through shared digital artefacts.
Get inspired
Digital artefacts are all around us. They could be a photo from a youth project, a meme that sparked discussion, a short video showing a creative activity, a screenshot from an app, or a website that inspires your digital practice. These artefacts reflect how digital tools and content are integrated into your youth work or everyday life.
Whether you’re a young person exploring digital spaces, a youth worker implementing digital tools, or a manager planning digital strategies, your digital artefact tells a story.

Explore the following role-specific badges to access activities designed to enhance your digital youth work within the organisation: Navigate to a specific badge and complete activities as a youth worker and youth work manager. Involve young people in co-designing digital youth work solutions.
- Youth workers can facilitate Digital Story badge activities by encouraging young people to share their digital interests or experiences.
- The Digital Practice badge allows youth workers to reflect on a meaningful element of their digital youth work.
- The Digital Vision badge invites youth work managers to present their vision or inspiration related to digital transformation.
